Everyone has friends as well as enemies. However, enemies do not mean the
typical baddies that are shown in the films, who are ready with knives to slit
each other’s neck. Things go wrong between people, they stop talking, and
usually the cold war begins. Nevertheless, time changes, things get sorted out,
and people move on. They forgive each other and step ahead, which is a sign
that they are mature enough to enjoy a good position in the society. Many a
times, we have heard that the film industry is a place, where two producers,
two directors, or two actors cannot be friends. They are always in a mood of
competition, which is not true.
A popular Bollywood celebrity and film producer Sajid Nadiadwala says, “In this industry, there are temporary
enemies and permanent friends.” This perfectly seems to be the situation
because not all of these celebrities have been seen taking their professional
grudges to the personal level. A few do, but that really does not matter
because here, we are talking about the very down to earth film maker Sajid Nadiadwala.
The producer adds, “You see any fights that have happened, even the
bitter ones, ultimately they get sorted out and people comeback together after
4-5 years. There are only 52 Fridays in a year, so intentionally or
unintentionally, knowingly or unknowingly, you hurt someone the wrong way because
it is a small industry. There is also so much competition, but ultimately it
gets sorted out.” This clearly shows how fights or disagreements in the film
industry are only for a matter of time. They are temporary and slowly get
solved with the passing time.
According to Sajid Nadiadwala, one needs to be calm and matured enough to let go
things easily and start fresh. Holding back the anger or building within you
hatred for someone for long is only going to make you hurt yourself.
Intelligence is to move on and make more friends, instead of enemies!
