“Finally the blood was back to film industry” – Sajid Nadiadwala

A lawyer by qualification, the now talented producer of the film industry Sajid Nadiadwala had never even imagined that he would enter Bollywood only to achieve everything that he has today. Little did he know that he will become one of the most renowned producers of Indian cinema in a short span of time? The producer is just in his late forties and already a big name. Sajid started his career as an AC technician and later went on to assisting his uncle in producing a film.

He also continued to earn his degrees in the field of commerce, accounts, as well as IAS. Being a part of a family that was in the film industry since the time he was not even born, made Sajid Nadiadwala finally enter Bollywood. Though he did not have any liking for it initially, the producer developed the love and passion gradually. On asking how did this happen, Sajid replied, “Finally the blood was back to film industry.”
He actually wanted to become an actor, which could not become possible because he was camera shy. The skilled producer feels he is better behind the camera and not in front of it. His consciousness did not let him become a film actor. Later, he wished to become a film director, which again did not become possible due to some reasons. Therefore, Sajid Nadiadwala finally settled on carrying forward the legacy of his family and started producing movies like his grandfather and uncles.

He, then officially launched his production house and named his banner ‘Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.’ Sajid has produced a large variety of films under this banner since then. His super hit movies comprise of Waqt Hamara Hai, Jeet, Judwaa, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Jaan-e-man, Kambakht Ishq, Heyy Babyy, Housefull, Housefull 2, and many more. The producer is finally fulfilling his dream of turning a director with his upcoming film ‘Kick’.

Sajid Nadiadwala has proved that making films is actually in his blood and he can do it best!
