Sajid Nadiadwala-Karan Johar's adorable and romantic movie '2 States'- trailer review

Getting much more than a million views for the trailer alone makes the Sajid Nadiadwala and Karan Johar co-produced 2 States a winner already. As per the sources the trailer is really adorable and gives you an insight of the sizzling chemistry that actors Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt share in the film. 2 States is a screen adaptation of the book written by Chetan Bhagat, which is based on his real life love story with his now wife. While Alia plays the role of a Tamilian girl named Ananya Swaminathan, Arjun has been featured as a North Indian guy named Krish Malhotra. Ananya is a management graduate in the movie who falls in love with Krish at IIM Ahmedabad. Actors Ronit Roy and Amrita Singh are seen playing Krish’s typical Punjabi parents in 2 States. On the other hand, famous South actress Revathy and television actor Shiv Kumar Subramaniam are showcased as Ananya’s mother and father respectively.

The trailer of the film is very cute, wherein Arjun and Alia fall in love with each other and make a very adorable couple. They try to convince their parents for their marriage and then start the sweet and sour confrontations between the two families. The two ladies (Amrita and Revathy) have been shown picking at each other’s culture in the trailer in a funny way. Things have been put up interestingly and you can expect many portions in the film, which you have a hearty laugh at. Looking into the onscreen chemistry between Arjun and Alia, they have locked lips around 2-3 times in the movie, praising which Karan said, “The display of emotion has become bold. It’s great that the new generation is kissing on screen. As far as I am concern, I like to watch kissing scenes, it is wonderful.” Sajid Nadiadwala and Karan Johar release 2 States on 18th April this year!
