Sajid Nadiadwala turns party lover for best friend Salman Khan!

Thought not a party animal, it seems that famous Indian film producer Sajid Nadiadwala has donned the party hat just for his best friend Salman Khan. Buddies for more than 20 years now, the duo is also currently doing a film together, with which Sajid is turning director for the first time. Being a remake of the Telugu movie Kick, the action drama has been named as the same. Salman is playing the lead role in it along with Jacqueline Fernandez and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Amongst all this work, the actor finally was able to spare some time for his 48th birthday celebrations. On 27th December, this year, Salman brought in his birthday with his entire family and close friends at his Panvel farmhouse. Juggling between the shoot for Bigg Boss 7 grand finale and Kick, the actor could not sleep, still got to his grand celebration in time.

Due to this, Sajid Nadiadwala also left no stone unturned. He is a person, who avoids attending parties, but he was still an active part of Salman Khan’s birthday bash. A source informed, “Salman partied hard with friends and family at his birthday bash. The session continued till 9am in the morning and Salman rushed to Bigg Boss 7 sets at Lonavala soon after to rehearse for skits and dance sequences with Armaan and Elli Avram for the finale.” Salman’s sleep deprived face did not let him spoil the grand finale because as usual he looked stunning. Explaining about the post shoot scenario, the source added, Bhai was shooting till evening and he rushed back to his Panvel Farmhouse to party with his friends and family till wee hours. It seems the actor may not pick up any sleep due to the Bigg Boss finale.”

Ex-couple Ranbir-Deepika to romance each other once again in the Imtiaz Ali-Sajid Nadiadwala ‘Window Seat’!

One more film gets added to the bunch of films that ace film producer Sajid Nadiadwala is making back to back this as well as the next year. The man had already five big movies to his kitty and now here is the sixth one, which has been tentatively named as Window Seat. This makes it half a dozen projects for the film maker, who never even believed in making more than one film every two years before this. With ventures like Highway, 2 States, Heropanti, Kick, and Phantom, which will be ready for release by 2014, the talented producer’s Window Seat with Imtiaz Ali, will go on the floors by mid 2014. Again, most of us would be aware that this Imtiaz Ali direction has actor Ranbir Kapoor playing the lead role in it. After much confusion over choosing between actresses Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone, the ‘RamLeela’ lady has been signed in for the role opposite Ranbir.

Ex-couple Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone will be seen romancing each other once again post Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani in the Sajid Nadiadwala produced and Imtiaz Ali directed Window Seat. Being read over and over again about this movie, so far we know that it is a romantic comedy as well as again a travel related film by Imtiaz. His past movie like Jab We Met was of the travel genre. Love Aaj Kal also revolved around traveling, but not directly. Imtiaz and Sajid’s upcoming film is a road film as well, wherein actors Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda are playing the lead. The movie has been shot across six north Indian states and is slated to release on 21st February, 2014. Coming back to Window Seat, which was actually decided to be made way back, could not be worked upon that time due to Ranbir’s date issues.

Hence, Sajid Nadiadwala and Imtiaz Ali decided to go ahead with Highway for the time being!

Sajid Nadiadwala angry over the unauthorized poster of ‘Heropanti’ put up at PVR, Juhu!

Many would be waiting for the upcoming Sajid Nadiadwala film Heropanti’s poster to be put up as it is one of the most awaited films of 2014. However, faking one to attract the people is no fair thing to do. This time it is not a video leak that has made the film producer angry but an unauthorized poster of Heropanti put up in PVR multiplex, Juhu in Andheri. No posters for the movie have been given out by the production house as they are still working on it. Meanwhile, the multiplex had put up an internet version of the poster on a plasma slide, which was noticed by an onlooker, who concluded that it is not authentic. Heropanti marks the debut of the star kid Tiger Shroff and is being directed by Sabbir Khan.

Discussing the issue Sabbir said, “I am not aware about it as the first look of the film is not yet out. The poster and artwork is still being worked on. Also, picking it up from the Internet, which has probably been made by a fan, is inappropriate and surprises me.” The makers including Sajid Nadiadwala are looking upon the matter and also have asked the multiplex authorities to pull it off. The manager of Andheri PVR Ved Sharma explained, “I am not aware about any such poster. The Delhi team will be able to help with this.” While one person is clueless about the issue, PVR’s marketing head Ashish Suri cleared, “It has been picked from the Internet, but we always get posters from the production houses. I will have to check with the team which manages social media.”
All this commotion needs to be solved out fast before the original poster of the Sajid Nadiadwala produced Heropanti releases. “We will try to get to the bottom of this matter. It is highly irresponsible for an established multiplex chain to do something like this,” said a source close to the production house!
