Chetan Bhagat to debut as a screenplay writer with Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Kick’!



The film industry has numerous new entrants almost every month. Lots and lots of people wish to be a part of the glamorous tinsel town, which has been in news all the time for fulfilling the dreams of many Bollywood stars. While some get through easily, others have to struggle for years. However, the ones who did not lose their hopes till the end have made a strong place for themselves in this industry.



The very famous writer Chetan Bhagat, who has written books like ‘The three mistakes of my life’, ‘Five point someone’, A night at the call centre’, and ‘2 States’ too has made his entry into the Bollywood. From writing books and novels, he has for now switched on to writing screenplays for movies. Chetan has lent his writing skills to well known Indian film producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s directorial debut ‘Kick’. The shoot of the film is still in progress. With Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez as the lead couple, ‘Kick’ also has many other effective elements that will surely leave an impact on the viewers.

Sajid Nadiadwala trusted Chetan Bhagat for writing a superb screenplay for his dream project and therefore, hired him for the same. With ‘Kick’ Chetan is debuting as a screenplay writer. He finds himself lucky to be working with producer director Sajid Nadiadwala and actor Salman Khan in his very first film as a writer. Chetan knew that the original movie was a blockbuster and he was expected to rewrite the old story in a way that it breaks all box office records. According to him, the story of ‘Kick’, which revolves around a guy who lives for his kicks has a powerful concept and needed to be worked on with equal dedication. There were large amount of changes to be made.

Chetan paid his gratitude to ace producer Sajid Nadiadwala for choosing him as the ideal screenplay writer for his film. He also tweeted on a social networking site that he needs the support of all his fans!
