The secret to making big budget films! – Sajid Nadiadwala

Making an entire film comprises of several stages like pre-production, production, and post-production. Every stage is equally important and involves many people, who efficiently carry out their work to make the movie a success. By people I mean the entire cast and crew of the film that is composed of the producers, directors, writers, editors, cinematographers, sound engineers, light designers, technicians, spot boys, and last but not the least, the actors. Along with people, there is need for various machines, cameras, sound mixers, mikes, microphones, lights, monitors, and more. An entire setup is required to shoot the film. For this, suitable locations, permission for shooting at these locations, vehicles, transportation facilities, and many such things have to be acquired.

All of it requires excessive funding. Here, comes in the need for the producers, who are responsible for financing the project. They provide certain budget that needs to cover all the costs from paying the fees to shooting the film and finally distributing it. One can imagine how much money goes into this. However, why worry when you have a producer like Sajid Nadiadwala in the industry? Famous for making big budget movies, this ace producer does not mind to spend crores of rupees on one film. Sajid believes in working on ways to increase one’s income rather than cutting down on the expenses and cribbing for money all the time.

A larger portion of the budget set for the making of a film goes into paying the high prices of the actors and actresses. Sajid Nadiadwala has no issues with this as well and has never complained for the same. According to him, a producer should concentrate on increasing the business of his film, instead of requesting an actor to lower down his or her demands. When a film will make more business, it will lead to higher profits. This will result into a balance between the income and expenses. The producer can easily compensate on the fees paid by him to the actors with the extra profit he makes!
