Full-fledged series of ‘behind the scene’ videos for Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Highway’!

Usually, one comes across many experiences as a cast as well as crew of a movie that is in the making. All these experiences and the journey make the entire film. This Highway Diaries is a full-fledged series of ‘behind the scene’ videos, which comes in an 18-20 episode package. These videos will be released on specific dates before Highway releases. Each episode will bring you a little more closer to the movie every time. It is probably about the experiences and fun the cast and crew of Highway had during the shoot that traverses through six north Indian states. However, one should not mistake it as the first look of the film because it is definitely not. The videos are just about the actual experiences that have nowhere been shown in the movie.

Giving more information about the film and Highway Diaries, director Imtiaz Ali says, “I have never seen a film being as influenced by the incidents of its making as Highway. These adventures of the north Indian road journey have many stories to tell. We bring these to you in The Highway Diaries!”

Sajid Nadiadwala’s movie-flooded ‘2014’!

The individual film producer of Indian cinema Sajid Nadiadwala is completely packed for seven months in the next year. The months from February to August are flooded with movie releases for the producer, who has successfully managed to take the plunge. 2014 becomes a one of its kind year for Sajid with five big films releasing back to back. A source close to the producer says, “This has never happened before for an independent producer but Sajid has managed to pull it off. He has dates locked for his Randeep Hooda and Arjun Kapoor starrers. There are other big names associated with the films as well in the form of director Imtiaz Ali and co-producer Karan Johar respectively.”

His films Highway and 2 States hit the theatres in February and April respectively. This makes the month of May vacant for Tiger Shroff’s debut film Heropanti, which is again produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. “Tiger Shroff would now be making his debut in the month of May. It has been a strategic decision by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt. Ltd so as to give Jackie Shroff’s son an enviable launch. Meanwhile, Sajid would be moving on to two of the biggest films coming out of his production house in July and August respectively, what with Kick arriving in Eid and Kabir Khan-Saif Ali Khan combo hitting the screens on 15th August,” a source adds.

Sajid Nadiadwala is also in news for coming up with another topical action-drama-thriller with Saif Ali Khan and a romantic comedy with the Ranbir Kapoor – Imtiaz Ali duo, post all these five releases. The one man and his efficient army are constantly working hard for their five films to enjoy a smooth development from the month of February to August.
