The most awaited movie
of the year ‘Highway’ has already wrapped up its shoot long back. It is in its
post production stage and just 3 months away from release. The fans are surely
waiting eagerly to see what the famous producer Sajid Nadiadwala and talented director Imtiaz Ali have to offer to
them. Shooting for this film was rather difficult because the crew had to move
from one state to another along with encountering with the rough weather
conditions of the north.
‘Highway’ has been
written, produced, as well as directed by Imitiaz Ali and is his pet project.
The skilled director had the concept in mind since a long time, but could not
get an opportunity to bring it to life. However, after completing with ‘Rockstar’,
it finally struck and here we have ‘Highway’ all set to release on the 13th
of December, 2013. Therefore, we can predict that this year is going to end
well. The new comer Alia Bhatt along with Randeep Hooda is playing the lead
role in this movie. To add to the excitement, we have the ace producer Sajid Nadiadwala presenting as well as

when talents like Sajid, Imitiaz, and A.R. Rahman come together. Yes, the Oscar
winning Rahman is lending music to this film.
It is a small budget
film made by Imitiaz, yet powerful due to its story and the efforts put in by
the entire cast and crew. Exploring the beautiful north was a tough task
indeed. The look of the movie has been kept simple along with Alia Bhatt going
completely de-glam for her role. With all news about the film doing the rounds
recently, people are building up interest to watch Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Highway’ as soon as it hits the theatres. Also,
Imitiaz has a strong hold over romantic films. People who loved ‘Jab We Met’,
which will go on becoming a cult movie soon, will definitely appreciate
‘Highway’.
