Tentatively named
Phantom that wrapped its Beirut schedule back this October has been progressing
really well. This Sajid Nadiadwala
produced film is being directed by Kabir Khan, who is well known for shooting
movies in authentic locations. Actors Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif are
playing the lead couple in this action drama, which is said to be a film based
on the 26/11 terror attack conditions. Previously, during the shoot of Phantom
in Beirut, Lebanon, which is a war struck area the crew had to face issues due
to the Israeli intelligence officers taking them wrong as the real trouble
makers. This happened due to the authenticity quotient of the film, which every
Kabir Khan movie is said to have.
Once again, Sajid Nadiadwala’s Phantom caused
trouble in Beirut on the last day of its shoot. A source giving a clear picture
about the issue said, “One such incident
occurred during the shooting of a particular scene with Saif and Katrina. The
scene required several cars for an action sequence and there was a designated
area to park all the cars, somewhere in close proximity to the shooting site.
Trouble struck on the last day of the shoot. One of the cars, which was an old,
green, bullet-ridden, bloodstained Mercedes, caused panic among the residents
of that area. For the kind of situation that is prevailing at Beirut at
present, with the city being sensitive on war fronts, this particular car
created havoc.”
