Sajid Nadiadwala
turned 48 on the 18th of February 2014. He has been a part of the
industry for 2 decades and known to be a trustworthy and dependable producer
and a great human being. His films have always entertained people, be it Judwa,
Mujshe Shaadi Karogi or the Housefull series. His banner, Nadiadwala Grandson
Entertainment Pvt Ltd., has been associated with films that have been great
hits at the box office and loved by the audiences.
The 49th year of his life is going to be very
special for him as he is going to explore a new aspect of filmmaking. Apart
from being a leading producer, Sajid
Nadiadwala is also going to step into the shoes of a director with the
Salman Khan starrer Kick. He is all geared up to finish shooting soon and
release the film on 25th of July 1014. Apart from Kick, the producer
has a huge line up of films that will be releasing this year. One of these
films, Highway, is set to release on the 21st of February i.e just 3
days from today. Sajid is presenting the film worldwide in association with UTV
Motion Pictures. His association with Imtiaz has been great and both these
individuals have loved working with each other, so much so that Imtiaz has also
asked Sajid to work with him on his next untitled release for 2015.
The other films that Sajid is producing or presenting this
year are Phantom, Heropanti and 2 states. Phantom has the gorgeous Katrina Kaif
and the handsome Saif Ali Khan in the lead. The film is being directed by Kabir
Khan and is releasing on the 2nd of October 2014. The Alia Bhatt and
Arjun Kapoor starrer 2 States, which is releasing on the 18th of
April 2014, is based on the novel by Chetan Bhagat. Sajid Nadiadwala is also launching Jackie Shroff’s son Tiger Shroff
in his production Heropanti, which will release on 16th May 2014.
His lady love in the movie will be played by newcomer Kriti Sanon, who has made
her big screen debut recently with the Telugu movie 1: Nenokkadine.
Looks like Sajid Nadiadwala has a lot of Bollywood hits
planned out for this year. We would like to wish this top producer a very Happy
Birthday.
