Have
you ever heard someone so perfect and knowledgeable calling himself a fan of
someone inferior to him in terms of experience and talent? Well, there exists one
such man, who does not like taking all the credit. He possesses that beautiful
quality of appreciating something that is really worth it and putting other
people in front of him. A favourite amongst new talents as well as old in
Bollywood, is the very skilled film producer Sajid Nadiadwala. He is one such film maker, who has been time and
again approached by celebrities, who have worked with him in the past or wish
to in the future. Imagine such a man, who is an epitome of multiple talents
calling himself a fan of other upcoming film makers in the film industry. Sajid
does not shy away from calling the good as good.
Praising
the two directors Imtiaz Ali and Kabir Khan, whom he is currently working with,
on different films, Sajid Nadiadwala
said, “I made commercial films and now I want to
be associated with other kinds of cinema. It gives me a big high to be part of
diverse themes. It feels great that I am launching new talents and at the same
time working with people I have been a fan of and look up to, like Imtiaz and
Kabir. It is a great experience to see how they visualize their films.” The
film maker is presenting the Imtiaz Ali written, directed, and produced
Highway, which is a road film this month on 21st. Another movie that
Sajid is doing with Imtiaz is the Ranbir Kapoor – Deepika Padukone starrer and
tentatively named Window Seat. It goes on the floors soon. He is also producing
an action thriller called Phantom under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson
Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., which Kabir Khan is directing.
Calling his experiences of working with the two directors on
Highway and Phantom respectively as extremely exciting, Sajid Nadiadwala does not feel ashamed to be their fan!
