Talking
about friends and foes in the film industry, one name that comes to the mind is
of the famous Indian film producer Sajid Nadiadwala. The man has many friends in Bollywood, who have stayed by his
side since a long time now. One of his closest buddies, who is also currently
doing a film with the producer is Salman Khan. They are together coming up with
Sajid’s directorial debut Kick. His other friends include Sajid Khan, Farah
Khan, Sabbir Khan, Imtiaz Ali, and many more. Last, but not the least is his
old friend Akshay Kumar, who has done several movies with the film maker.
Akshay along with Sajid has given hits like Heyy Babyy, Houseful, and Housefull
2. With Housefull 2 earning a whooping amount, stronger became the bond between
the actor and producer.
Continuing
to grow this bond even stronger, Akshay Kumar might soon be seen once again in
a Sajid Nadiadwala production. The
time or date is not yet confirmed as Sajid is already busy with multiple
projects this as well as the next year. His 2014 and 2015 releases include the
films Highway, Heropanti, 2 States, Kick, Phantom, and the tentatively named
Window Seat. So, the two can come together in a film anytime later, when all these
six ventures have been wrapped up. Confirming the news Sajid said, “Yes Akshay and I team up again for my next venture. We
have a strong personal equation. The film falls in the romantic-action genre.
It will be interesting to see Akki in that space. He has always trusted my
instincts as far as stories are concerned.” As per the producer, the movie
might be of the action-romance genre.
Adding
to the conversation, Sajid Nadiadwala
said, “Once I am through with the basic
storyline, my team will start work on the screenplay. Nothing else, including
female lead, or other crewmembers are finalized yet!”
