The reason Sajid Nadiadwala named his banner ‘Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt Ltd’!

Starting up your own business, though you have had a family background really strong is a difficult task. But then, there are some people, who like to take up such tough challenges and prove themselves somewhere down the lane. Similarly, we have the famous Indian film producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who has been an idol for many. Being a lawyer by qualification, he took up film making as a career. Born in a family with a strong film background, Sajid actually was never dependent on them to come up in this particular field. Whatever he has achieved so far, is all by himself. After completing his studies, he entered the industry as an assistant director to JP Dutta for Ghulami. Later, he went ahead with launching his own banner and named his production house as Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt Ltd. It was his sole effort and he asked for help neither from his grandfather, nor father.

Ask Sajid Nadiadwala the reason behind naming his banner as Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt Ltd and he replies, “My uncle's banner was Nadiadwala Sons. Most companies were named 'so and so sons' so I registered 'Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt Ltd' as my grandfather was the reason we were in this line. The logo had the letters N and G and in between, it had a grandfather holding a grandchild's hand that was meant to be me. Coincidentally, my son today feels that the little child holding the hand is him with his grandfather. I saw success as a producer for the first time in 1995 with back-to-back hits, 'Jeet' and 'Judwaa', and since then 90% of my films have been hits.” So, this is the reason for the film maker to name his production house as NGE Pvt. Ltd.

Since then, Sajid Nadiadwala has been producing multiple films under this banner and has also given several hits!
