Sajid Nadiadwala
– A name, which has so much to do with the Indian cinema, has reached new
heights this year. The man has been in the industry since the last three
decades and has always come up with some amazing films. Born on 18th
February, 1966 in a family, which has its roots in the film industry, Sajid had
never thought of taking Bollywood as his career. Call it mere coincidence or
the cinema in his blood; he has turned to be a great film producer by now. His
grandfather Abdul Karim Nadiadwala was in the industry from the start and had
made numerous films. Carrying forward the legacy of his family, he took up
production and launched his own production house called as Nadiadwala Grandson
Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Actually, he is a lawyer by qualification and his first
job was of an AC technician. However, with a dream of becoming an actor,
followed by a director, he ultimately landed up in the seat of a producer.
Sajid Nadiadwala
is a born film maker and no one can deny that after watching is films. He has
so far made movies like Jeet, Waqt Hamara Hai, Andolan, Judwaa, Mujhse Shaadi
Karogi, Jaan-e-man, Kambakht Ishq, Housefull, Housefull 2, and many more. Currently,
he is working on more six films, out of which five will release this year. The
six movies are namely Highway, 2 States, Heropanti, Kick, Phantom, and Window
Seat. The producer is turning director for the first time with his upcoming
venture Kick. Actors Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda,
Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Archana Puran Singh, and Mithun Chakraborty are playing
the lead roles in this film. Along with directing Kick, Sajid is also producing
it under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. He is not only
a very calm person by nature, but also possesses an impressive personality,
which very few film makers in Bollywood might have!
