Sajid Nadiadwala and Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Highway’ showcases north India at its best!

Road films are hard to shoot, but it became so difficult for Imtiaz Ali that it almost became exhausting. The director along with film producer Sajid Nadiadwala is coming up with a new film Highway that showcases the toughest as well as most beautiful locations of north India. Shot across 6 north Indian states, Highway becomes a one of its kind movie. It has been written, directed, as well as produced by Imtiaz Ali. Actors Randeep Hooda and Alia Bhatt are playing the lead. They play two such characters, which are extremely different from each other. The communication gap between them is huge and the sudden change in their individual personalities due to the journey has been highlighted in the film.

Highway is being presented worldwide by film producer Sajid Nadiadwala and he is very happy to be a part of the movie. He is handling the entire distribution process by himself and soon one can expect them to start promoting the film. Coming back to the shooting and location of the film, one can easily make out from the Highway diaries that the sets looked very authentic and exclusive. A source close to the movie said, “The filmmaker & his cast & crew must have travelled a lot to capture the picturesque locales, breathtaking slides, snow-clad mountains, entrapping gorgeous scenic beauty, and other backdrop for the film. From rough terrain to bumpy roads to dangerous under-constructed ghats to local roads twisting away between steep drops and barren canyons, Highway appears to be the most exhausting film of Imtiaz.”
Though very beautiful along with being exhausting, the duo Sajid Nadiadwala and Imtiaz Ali are very much content with the outcome. The expectations of the audiences are rising and they might be already ready to watch the film. However, one can keep a track over the movie by watching the videos being released as a part of the Highways Diaries, which also do not have any relation to the movie!
