Wanting to become a director from
the very first day he joined the film industry, famous Indian film producer SajidNadiadwala has finally turned a director. Though after 30 years, but the
producer has achieved the title and is very happy to start his directing career
with the upcoming movie Kick. It is also special because Sajid will be
directing his best friend of 20 years, superstar Salman Khan. Jacqueline Fernandez
along with Randeep Hooda also shares the screen space with Salman in this film.
Kick is the remake of a Telugu film with the same name that had released in 2009
and stayed with the producer since then.
Along with directing Kick, Sajid
Nadiadwala has written the story as well as produced the movie. With this
film releasing on the festival of Eid next year, Sajid and Salman are said to
recreate the magic once again after Judwaa that they had did 16 years back.
Judwaa too had hit the theatres on Eid and from there had started the story of
multiple successes. Also, Salman Khan has an extraordinary bonding with the Eid
releases, which has been a reason for his stardom since some time now. The
actor promises the coming Eid that will see the release of Kick will be a grand
affair for both him and his producer friend. Confirming the same he says, “Our
fans can now rejoice with the dhamaal and entertainment that
we will bring to you on the festival for 2014.”
Though Sajid
Nadiadwala’s Kick has been delayed a lot in terms of its shooting, its
release will surely prove to be a crucial moment in the producer’s life. A
source said, “The much delayed directorial debut Kick is slated to hit theatres next year
and that certainly will be momentous occasion for Sallu, who will return with a
bang on Eid and might also prove a momentous moment for the producer turned
director and might boost Jacqueline Fernandez’s career!”
